Event description: Build your dream skateboard at our summer camp! Learn woodworking skills and make a custom board that stands out with your unique laser cut designs. Using a vacuum press and multiple layers of veneer, create a custom board with a kick . You will learn wood equipment safety and use of band saws, panel saw, router, sanders as well as learn and use laser cutters.  Finish up by laser etching your design onto your deck then stain, seal and assemble trucks, wheels and bearings.  Your end product will be a high-end custom skateboard!
