Soldiers Cross

We begin our presentation on the American Revolution in Rockland at 1:30pm. But arrive a little early for this treat. Burt and Mary Ann will be presenting a military ceremony called the Soldiers Cross or battlefield cross. This is a powerful demonstration to memorialize the sacrifices of fallen soldiers and uniformed service members. The soldiers cross provides symbolic meaning for those mourning the loss of their comrades. The program will contain a full explanation and demonstration of each item. The National Nurses Honor Guard will join us in their original 1940's nurses uniform.
