NC Artist All Call - The Art of America, A 250 Year Celebration!

Alamance Arts is hosting two significant exhibits: "The Art of America, A 250 Year Celebration!" and "A Salute to Service Members." The former invites all North Carolina artists to submit works reflecting the theme of “America,” emphasizing aspects such as freedom, history, and community. Artists may submit up to five pieces, with the deadline for submissions set for August 1st. This exhibit will be displayed from August 18th to October 2nd. Additionally, "A Salute to Service Members" features the artistic talents of 23 veterans, active military members, and their families, showcasing a variety of mediums including painting, silversmithing, woodworking, and photography. This exhibit aims to honor these individuals not only for their service but also for their artistic contributions. Both events highlight the creative expressions within the military community and broader themes of American identity.
