Phoenix Books Essex was established in Essex in 2007 on the principles of social responsibility, community, and sustainability. Phoenix is a locally-owned, independent bookstore, and a proud member of Local First Vermont and Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility. Whenever possible, Phoenix Books sources eco-friendly products from Fair Trade/Green Certified companies. In May of 2012, Phoenix Books Burlington opened its doors. You can contact (and visit!)
