The Charles E. Young Research Library (YRL) at UCLA provides research-level collections and services primarily for graduate students and faculty in the humanities, social sciences, education, public affairs, and government information and maps. It houses over two million books and journals, with extensive worldwide collections in over a hundred languages. YRL also offers various services and resources, including research consultations, equipment lending, interlibrary loan, and reservable study spaces, as well as specialized labs for innovation and technology. The library aims to support UCLA's research and educational mission by empowering communities to discover, access, create, share, and preserve knowledge.
