Agendas are now available for the upcoming Buena Park City Council meeting. Please click here to view the agenda. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. The regular Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 6650 Beach Boulevard. All City Council meetings are open to the public. At times, the Council may have a closed session for discussing specific items concerning personnel, litigation or property matters. Notice of the meetings and agenda items are provided to the local media at least 72 hours in advance and posted at City Hall. They are also posted on the City's website. SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT PUBLIC MEETINGS DURING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC On September 16, 2021, Governor Newsom signed into law Assembly Bill 361, which allows City Council members to attend meetings via videoconferencing. Videoconferencing allows the City to continue to conduct essential business and comply with Public Health Administration recommendations to protect the public and City employees, practice social distancing, and limit exposure. Please be advised that some or all City Council members may attend this meeting via videoconference. The public has the following options to provide comments during the meeting: OPTION 1: IN-PERSON The public may attend this meeting in-person. Masks and social distancing are required while in the Council Chamber or City Hall. Those wishing to speak are asked to complete a speaker identification form located at the council chamber entrance and place it in the box near the speaker's lectern. Comments are limited to no more than three minutes each. OPTION 2: VIA EMAIL Members of the public may submit their comments in writing by sending them to the City Clerk's office at comments@buenapark.com . Please submit all comments by 4:00 P.M. day of meeting OPTION 3: VIRTUALLY (VIA ZOOM) Zoom Conference Call Number: (669)900-6833 You may request to speak by dialing *9 from your phone when the designated public comment period , as listed on the agenda, has been opened. After City staff confirms the last three digits of the caller's phone number or Zoom ID and unmutes you, the caller must press *6 . Callers are encouraged, but not required, to identify themselves by name. Each caller has three (3) minutes to speak. Zoom Virtual Participation : Virtually "raise your hand" when the designated public comment period, as listed on the agenda has been opened. Wait to be called on by City staff, unmute your audio, your name and city of residency is requested, but not required. Each participant has three (3) minutes to speak.
