Join us for a vital blood donation event at the South Austin Donor Center and the Austin Municipal Court, where you can help meet the local need for blood transfusions. Donating whole blood involves giving a pint of blood, which is then separated into red cells, plasma, and platelets for local hospitals. Each day, we require approximately 200 donors to ensure the community's needs are met.

The donation process, including check-in and refreshments, typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour, with the actual blood donation taking only 15-35 minutes, depending on whether you choose a whole blood or double red cell donation.
