The Sandy Springs Library, a branch of the Fulton County Library System, is a community hub dedicated to lifelong learning and enrichment. Originally built in 1963 and subsequently expanded and remodeled, its most recent renovation in 2019 modernized the interior to include meeting rooms, study rooms, an expanded children's department, a teen lounge, and a computer lab. The library offers a variety of services such as computer and internet access, digital resources, research assistance, and programs for all ages, including storytimes and workshops. It also features a Library Reading Garden with a meditation labyrinth. The Fulton County Library System's mission is to empower residents with essential tools for learning and to serve as a cultural and intellectual center for Fulton County and the City of Atlanta. The system comprises 34 libraries and provides innovative programs and virtual resources tailored to community needs.
