Details:
Do you still have a handwritten note from someone you loved?
Maybe it's a recipe card, a birthday card, a postcard, or a note tucked into a book.
In a world of texts, emails, and AI-assisted communication, handwritten notes remain one of the most personal ways we connect with one another. Join retired educator Alice Henry for a relaxed and welcoming workshop exploring handwritten correspondence, postcards, notes, and practical ways to bring handwriting back into everyday life.
Participants will reflect on the role of handwritten communication, discover simple ways to reconnect with pen and paper, and have the opportunity to create their own handwritten note or postcard.
No perfect penmanship required. Whether you enjoy writing regularly or haven't picked up a pen in years, all are welcome.
