Join the DeKalb County Caregiver Support Group, hosted virtually by Shallowford Presbyterian Church, where participants can engage in a safe and confidential environment designed to foster informal mutual support and social relationships. This group not only educates members about dementia but also equips them with problem-solving skills. Additionally, there is an Early-Stage Support Group for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia, held at Dunwoody UMC in Atlanta. This group provides a supportive space for peers and caregivers, offering dementia-related education, emotional support, and valuable resources to enhance participants' lives amidst the challenges of the disease. Registration is required for virtual participation, and login information will be provided upon registration.
