Details:
Join us for an exciting series of family programs at the Education Barn! Every Friday through June 26th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, participate in "Friday Farmers," where families with children aged 3 years and up can get their boots dirty exploring various jobs on the farm and meeting the animals. For just $7 per person, with adult paid participation required, this hands-on experience will vary each week based on the dynamic nature of our working farm. Pre-registration is required, and Annual Farm Pass holders can use a discount code at checkout.
In addition, enjoy "Kids Hour: Salamander Meander," a free program where participants can explore the woods of Wolfe’s Neck Center with an educator. Search for salamanders, snakes, and other wildlife while learning about amphibians and their habitats. Everyone is welcome, but kids must be accompanied by an adult.
For groups of 10 or more, please contact the Education Department prior to purchasing tickets. For any questions, reach out at 207.650.3031 or via email at education@pinelandfarms.org.
To reach the Education Barn, follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine, and after passing the Market, turn left onto Valley Farm Rd. The Education Barn is the largest barn in the family farmyard, located near the Smokehouse Visitors Center (with the white silo). We look forward to seeing you there!
