The Red Folder Project

Join us at the Westport Island History Center, located at 38 Ferry Rd, for "The Red Folder Project: Planning for the Unexpected in Caregiving." This thoughtful, guided workshop is designed for caregivers of individuals with dementia or those needing assistance with daily living. Led by Ashley Butterfield, Executive Director of Bath-Brunswick Respite Care, the session will tackle the important question of what happens if a caregiver can no longer fulfill their role unexpectedly. Participants will discuss critical topics such as backup supports, access to the caregiver's home, and the organization of essential documents. Attendees will leave with valuable templates and resources to create their own personalized "Red Folder," equipping them with a clear, realistic plan for unforeseen circumstances in caregiving.
