Details:
Join Bath-Brunswick Respite Care for the "Dealing with Dementia" workshop, a free, one-day event designed to support family caregivers caring for individuals with dementia. This four-hour program, developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers and facilitated by Rita Fraser from Spectrum Generations, provides practical tools, valuable education, and compassionate support for managing the day-to-day challenges of caregiving. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of dementia, learn effective strategies for handling difficult behaviors, reduce caregiver stress, and prioritize their own well-being. The workshop also creates a welcoming space for caregivers to connect with others facing similar challenges and to learn about community resources available to support them. Pre-registration is required due to limited availability, with only 12 spots open. To reserve your place, contact Rita Fraser at 207-620-1678 or rfraser@spectrumgenerations.org.
