Details:
Join us for "Dealing With Dementia," a free workshop designed to support family caregivers who are caring for individuals living with dementia. Developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers and facilitated locally by Rita Fraser from Spectrum Generations, this four-hour program offers practical tools, valuable education, and compassionate support to navigate the challenges of caregiving. Topics covered include understanding dementia and its effects on behavior, managing difficult situations, reducing caregiver stress, and prioritizing your well-being. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with others facing similar experiences and learn about community resources available to support them. Pre-registration is required due to limited spaces—only 12 spots are available. To reserve your place, please contact Rita Fraser at 207-620-1678 or rfraser@spectrumgenerations.org. Whether you are new to caregiving or have years of experience, this workshop will help you feel more confident and prepared in your role.
