Believe in Bristol is thrilled to announce the 26th Anniversary season of the beloved Border Bash summer concert series. Free and open to the public, Border Bash brings exciting live music, local vendors, and family-friendly fun to the heart of Downtown Bristol while showcasing a diverse array of talent - from local favorites to nationally recognized artists. Families with young children are invited to play games and make crafts in our Kid Zone, check out our food and craft vendors, and explore our locally-owned downtown businesses while you're there! Presented in partnership with the Birthplace of Country Music, this season’s Border Bash will serve as a preview for the annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, showcasing select artists who will also take the stage at the internationally celebrated music festival scheduled for Sept. 11-13 of this year. June 26th - 400/500 Block State Street 6:30 PM – TOGEAU 8:00 PM – Hannah Dasher Hannah Dasher - Whether she's whipping up a viral recipe or a hit song, Music Row predicted she’ll be the Next Big Thing. She's a Fender Next artist, a CMT Next Women of Country and a regular on the Grand Ole Opry. But Whiskey Riff believes Hannah Dasher is still “one of Nashville’s best kept secrets, much like Chris Stapleton used to be.” They claim she’s one of the best live acts they’ve seen in a long time. A true entertainer, she’s amassed over 1.5M followers on TikTok and has become a viral sensation on other platforms. Walk into her “Honkytonk Graceland” home and find that this artist is no character. She lives like she looks. Preserving the best of nostalgic Country music and building upon it with a fresh, new sound, Hannah Dasher feels like the big piece of the puzzle we’ve been missing for a while. This year, she takes her headlining “Wanted” Tour across the pond to Sweden and the UK. Stephen Hubbard -ABC Country TOGEAU is an alternative-appalachian band born out of Southwest Virginia but members reach from far north in the US, to overseas. The music of Togeau brings an indie folk style to a classic singer/songwriter sound with intensely personal vocals, a sincere and different layered sustaining sound, and with the classic string, percussion, and keys accompaniment. The music forces the listener to taste the bitterness of life, allowing one to reflect on internal strife and loneliness while also feeling the weight of hope, grace, and powerful love that is found in the darkest corners of day-to-day life.
