Details:
Join the **Intermediate Pick Along Summer Camp** from June 22-26, 2026, designed for students aged 10-16 with a basic understanding of music. For $200 (members) or $250 (non-members), campers will learn foundational skills on acoustic instruments like the banjo, guitar, and fiddle, similar to those heard in the 1927 Bristol Sessions. The camp includes exploring the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, engaging in hands-on projects with Radio Bristol, and participating in singing and dancing activities while making new friends. Campers will have the chance to perform in Historic Downtown Bristol and for parents at the final showcase. No prior musical experience is required—just a passion for music! An optional instrument rental is available for $25. The camp operates Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Discounts for multiple campers and scholarships may be available.
