The City of Brighton’s annual Fourth of July festival will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 5 p.m. at Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street). The evening will feature live entertainment, starting with DJ Overkill followed by a headliner performance by Thumpin’, Denver’s Favorite Dance Band, at 7 p.m. Once the concert concludes, attendees can enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the region, weather and conditions permitting.
The event will include free face painting for children and food will be available for purchase through mobile vendors.
To ensure a pleasurable experience, please consider bringing the following items:
-Blankets
-Lawn chairs
-Sunscreen
-Bug repellent
-Water
Please be respectful of residents by parking courteously in neighborhood areas, maintaining property access and following all posted road restrictions, including keeping fire hydrants clear. For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, please leave charcoal grills, fireworks, glass containers and drones at home.
