FOPOS Nature Journaling Meetup // Monday, August 10th

Join FOPOS and artist Eleni Litt for a Nature Journaling Meetup on Monday, August 10th, at the Mountain Lakes House. This free gathering invites adults and older teens to engage in a creative exploration of nature through drawing, painting, and collaging in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Participants will receive suggestions and prompts from Eleni, encouraging them to follow their curiosity while drawing from the beautiful surroundings. No prior experience in art or nature journaling is required, making it suitable for everyone, including younger participants accompanied by an adult. Please bring a sketchbook and your preferred art materials. The meetup will start with introductions, followed by individual creative time, and conclude with an informal sharing session. Eleni Litt, a teaching artist and anthropologist, fosters an atmosphere of curiosity and learning through art. The Mountain Lakes House is located within the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve, with specific directions provided for parking.
