Join Executive Director Cybele Maylone for a visit to the Easton, CT studio of artist James Prosek, whose exhibition Life & Death: A Visual Taxonomy was on view at The Aldrich in 2007-08. More recently Prosek has exhibited his work - which pays homage to the history of art and natural sciences while addressing contemporary environmental concerns - in exhibitions and projects at institutions including the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Farnsworth Art Museum. His exhibition Memory, Trees & Shadows is on view at the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY through October 2026. RSVP to Holly Hart at hhart@thealdrich.org by July 13.
