Book signing of Tim Johnson's biography of Robert Neyland

Dr. Tim Johnson, Lipscomb's Elizabeth Gentry Brown Chair in History, and author of Robert Neyland: The West Point Engineer Who Built Tennessee Football, will be on hand to discuss the book and sign copies at the Beaman Library on Lipscomb's Green Hill campus. In this, the 100th anniversary of Neyland’s first year as head coach, Johnson has released the first scholarly researched biography of the football legend penned by a historian. Johnson, a military historian who has written eight previous books, strove to highlight Neyland's little known accomplishments as an Army Brigadier General, as well as his accomplishments on the football field.
