The Braden River Branch Library opened in 1997 as a permanent 15,000 sq. ft. facility, later expanding in 2021 with an additional 4,000 sq. feet. The library features a community room, 4 study rooms, a makerspace, a Seed Library, and bay windows overlooking its four-acre site and garden. Programming includes events for all ages, story times, book clubs, art workshops, and tech help. Outreach to schools, preschools, assisted living centers, and community events extends its services beyond the library walls. Located on State Road 70 and east of Highway 301, serving east Manatee County.
