Details:
In honor of America’s 250th birthday and the Summer Reading theme, Unearth a Story, The Lehigh Valley Base of United States Submarine Veterans, Inc team will present a talk on the history and life on a United States submarine. The different types of submarines will be explained by team members. Artifacts will be shared while the veterans talk about patrols and their different jobs while enlisted in the Silent Service. A question-and-answer time will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be served.
This program will be held in the library’s multipurpose room.
Registration preferred. Walk-ins welcome.
