Details:
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a hands-on history adventure! Kids will learn about Betsy Ross and the story behind the American flag. Then, youngsters will create their own patriotic artwork by weaving red, white, and blue ribbons into burlap. This keepsake craft combines early American history with fine motor skills as children explore patterns, textures, and symbolism while honoring this milestone anniversary of the United States.
This program is intended for those heading into Grades K-5. Located in the Children's Program Room.
If your child needs a special accommodation, please contact juliab@lowermaclib.org ahead of time and we would be more than happy to assist!
