Details:
Step into the prehistoric past and explore dinosaurs in a whole new way—through shadows! Kids will learn how light and shadow work as they trace dinosaur silhouettes and turn them into their own creative drawings. Using the sun and dino shapes, participants will experiment with size, angles, and outlines to create unique shadow art. This hands-on program blends art and science while encouraging imagination, observation, and fine motor skills.
NOTES:
Program will be outside – weather permitting; if weather prevents us, an alternate art experience will be offered inside the children’s program room.
Participants should meet in the children’s program room at the start time.
This program is intended for those heading into Grades K-5. Located in the Children's Program Room.
If your child needs a special accommodation, please contact juliab@lowermaclib.org ahead of time and we would be more than happy to assist!
