Antiques Roadshow Adult Show & Tell

In honor of America’s 250th birthday and the Summer Reading theme, Unearth a Story the library is hosting an adult show and tell experience.
Think back to those fond memories of show and tell at school. Bring along an item that has special meaning to you and share with the group. Perhaps you have an heirloom you want to show other attendees or maybe you just like to spin a good yarn about a common everyday item. Unlike Antiques Roadshow we will not be appraising items.
This time is for neighbors to sit around and share stories. It is a laid-back event and you only have to say a few sentences if you are not comfortable with public speaking. The room will be set up with a circle of chairs so no one will be asked to stand in front of the room. We can’t wait to hear about a special memory, milestone or a cherished keepsake. Remember it is not about the monetary value!
Registration preferred. Walk-ins welcome.
