Historic RailPark & Train Museum

The Historic RailPark & Train Museum, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is housed in a restored 1925 L&N Passenger Depot. The museum offers a self-guided tour of its two-story exhibits, which explore the cultural significance of railroads, including displays on the African American experience during segregation, the Civil War, and women in railroading. Visitors can also take a guided tour of seven restored railcars, such as a diesel locomotive, presidential office car, dining car, sleeper car, post office car, WWII hospital car, and caboose. The site also features one of the region's largest model railroad displays and is available for special events.
