The Newton Human Rights Commission is pleased to partner this year with the Celebration of Queer Culture (CQC) Planning Committee to host a shared Pride Month event in Newton. Newton Celebrates Pride Month will take place on Wednesday, June 3 from 5-7:30pm at Newton City Hall (1000 Commonwealth Ave.) . The celebration will be on the south lawn; in case of rain, it will move indoors inside City Hall. Join the celebration for food, art, and resources. All are welcome at this free, family-friendly event! Schedule: 5pm: Community Resource Fair 5:30pm: Human Rights Commission Pride Flag Raising Ceremony 6-7:30pm: Celebration Resource Fair Continues Learn more about the celebration and the history of Pride in Newton at newtonma.gov/newtonpride!
