Mindful Monday - The Wisdom & Kindness of Mister Rogers

Fred Rogers' kindness was a revolutionary, radical act of radical empathy. Rather than just being polite, he treated every individual with unwavering respect, validating their emotions and reminding them constantly that they were inherently lovable "just the way they are." We can garner much wisdom from Mister Rogers - even as adults, or perhaps most especially as adults.
Join us for the month of August as we explore what it truly means to be empathetic and kind, and the legacy left to us from Mister Rogers. We close out the month with a special program on August 31st that will start at 6pm and be available only in-person in the Children's Dept. Storytime Meeting Room.
