Join us for a summer filled with engaging activities for tweens and teens, ages 11-17, starting June 9, 2026, as part of our Tween & Teen Summer Activity Series. Enjoy a variety of rotating weekly activities, including Switch games, crafts, movies, and more, with no registration necessary. Additionally, our library offers an Emergency Food Pantry during open hours from Tuesday to Saturday. For adults, we invite you to participate in our Scrap Fabric Patterning event, where you can create beautiful designs on canvases using scrap fabric—materials provided at no cost. Lastly, we are hosting a Teen Sewing Class for 6th-12th graders, where you can learn to sew your own tote bag; advanced registration is required and begins on June 9 at 4:00 pm, sponsored by the Friends of the La Mesa Library.
