The Garden City Public Library is dedicated to engaging and enriching the community's hearts and minds. It aims to be a welcoming place for families and friends, fostering a comfortable environment for interaction with each other, the community, and literature. The library offers a diverse collection of books, CDs, DVDs, and other educational materials, alongside innovative programs and classes for all ages, and a comprehensive selection of online services, including Wi-Fi and computer access. Recognized as the Idaho Library of the Year in 2019, it boasts over 55,000 titles and serves approximately 450 patrons daily. As a member of the LYNX! Consortium, it collaborates with other Idaho libraries to enhance access to shared resources. The library's mission is to connect people with information, supporting lifelong learning, advancing knowledge, and strengthening the community. It also provides archival services for the Village of Garden City, preserving historical photographs, articles, maps, and manuscripts.
