Barrier-free Worship

What is Barrier-Free Worship? As a service of Maryville 1st United Methodist Church and DayBreak, we are hosting a monthly 30 minute worship service that will be welcoming to all. We want you to join us and be a part of a community where you can worship in ways that celebrate your abilities. If someone has cognitive impairment, experiences neurodiversity, or other needs where a less formal sanctuary would be helpful, our goal is to provide a space for you to worship if you have encountered barriers to your abilities or comfort before. There will be refreshments and fellowship following the service.
