Paws & Pages with Bloomington Public Library

This program pairs children in Grades K–5 with adoptable shelter animals to practice reading aloud in a calm, encouraging environment.
During each Paws & Pages session, children will visit the Humane Society of Central Illinois (423 Kays Drive, Normal) to spend time reading to a friendly shelter pet. Each participant will be assigned a 10-minute reading session with an animal companion.
Available time slots:
1:00 – 1:10 PM
1:15 – 1:25 PM
1:30 – 1:40 PM
1:45 – 1:55 PM
2:00 – 2:10 PM
2:15 – 2:25 PM
2:30 – 2:40 PM
2:45 – 2:55 PM
After registering, families will receive an email from Mr. Cody with instructions for selecting or confirming a time slot.
