Tales for Tails
--- Wednesdays: June 3, 10, 17, 24 & July 8, 15, 22, 29 – 6-7pm
--- Thursdays: June 4 and 18 & July 16 – 1-2pm
--- Registration required
This program pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children going into Grades K-6 who want to practice reading aloud.
There will be four 10-minute time slots available for kids to meet and read to a pup in the Children's Department.
Registration for each session opens two weeks before the session meets. Registration can be completed online at bit.ly/talesfortails, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person.
Ms. Alex will personally email those who register to assign them a time slot and introduce them to the dog they'll be meeting!
