The DDA works on various projects, including infrastructure improvements like parking and streetscapes, and provides economic assistance to businesses through facade and sign grant programs. They are a designated Main Street community, partnering with Main Street Oakland County and adhering to the National Main Street Center's Four Point Approach. The DDA is governed by a nine-member board of directors and four sub-committees focused on its core areas.
