Immersive Fields is a new form of Relational Field Work that combines psychodrama, somatic movement, authentic relating, improv, and systemic field-based practices. The purpose of this practice is to cultivate the conscious conditions for participants to become 'instruments of the field' and serve a purpose that is beyond the individual persona. To do this, we invite guided practices that invite the activation and embodiment of the physical, emotional, energetic and archetypal bodies. These guided practices scaffold into a specific field-sourced practice, which invites participants to explore an emergent, non-linear expression of the field through movement, embodiment, relationality, play, feeling, archetype, and presence. It’s playful, it’s profound, it’s fun, it’s deep, and it will invite you to be with what’s real in a warm, welcoming, communal environment.
This is a donation-based workshop with a suggested donation of $20-$30. Donations can be sent via Venmo (@iamaxios) or PayPal (infiniteaxios@gmail.com). No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
About the facilitators:
Axios Papaflessas is a Hellenic, US-based Therapeutic Coach and Facilitator with over 20 years of experience in psychotherapies, dearmouring, intimacy work, subtle energetics, and the improvisational arts. He curates programs, retreats and private containers that awaken courage, coherence, capacity and connection—helping people embody their inner authority and come alive in relationship to self, others, and 'the field'. He's a big lover of cats and dogs (and humans!), and has recently decided to establish himself here in Asheville.
Aurora Kai Sunrise is a Sound Healer and Creative Embodiment Coach with roots in Quebec, Massachusetts, and the Hawaiian Islands. For over two decades, she has explored the improvisational landscapes of sound, movement, silence, and stillness, on stage, in studio, at home, and in nature. Now based in Asheville NC, Aurora guides people in cultivating a relationship with the wisdom, love, and creativity of their bodies. Her work invites a return to inner wilderness and divine remembrance. She holds deep gratitude for the land and sea of Hawai‘i, whose presence reawakened her bond with life.
