LegaSea Aquarium and The Reptarium is a 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Utica, Michigan, combining two immersive animal experiences. It offers an up-close, hands-on journey into the worlds of aquatic life and reptiles. The aquarium features vibrant exhibits with tropical fish, rays, and sharks, emphasizing interactive learning through touch tanks and feeding opportunities to deepen understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Adjacent, The Reptarium focuses on education through interaction, housing a diverse array of reptiles including giant snakes, lizards, tortoises, and alligators, allowing guests to experience and even handle these animals. Founded by reptile expert Brian Barczyk, the facility aims to foster connection and learning, making it an ideal destination for families, schools, and animal lovers. The Reptarium originally opened in 2018 and has since expanded to this larger location, which also includes a section for mammals. The original building now serves as a private event center.
