Digital Literacy Summer Workshop

Join us for a series of enriching events at our local libraries that inspire creativity and technological understanding!

1. **Embodied: Contemporary Takes on the Dress** at the Central Library features 12 Alabama artists who express personal narratives through uniquely crafted dresses. Each dress showcases influences from culture, society, and the environment, employing distinct styles and materials. Don't miss the artist reception on Friday, July 17, at 3:30 p.m., supported by a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

2. Participate in the **Digital Literacy Summer Workshop** at the Powderly Branch Library, designed for children, tweens, and teens. This hands-on workshop invites young participants to explore the digital world by learning about design, coding, and creativity while working on exciting projects. Registration is required and limited to 20 participants for an interactive experience.

3. Discover your creative side with the **Scavenger Hunt: Unearth Your Story** at the North Birmingham Regional Branch Library, where children will embark on an adventure that involves following clues, finding hidden surprises, and exploring dinosaurs, all while crafting their own unique stories.
