Details:
We have a new program in Broome County to prevent lead poisoning! The Lead Rental Registry requires rental property owners with multi-unit buildings in ZIP codes 13901 and 13905 within the City of Binghamton built before 1980 to register with Broome County Health Department and receive a certificate of lead safety. This will help us find lead hazards like chipping and peeling paint before kids are exposed and harmed.
Join BCHD at George F. Johnson Library to:
-Find out more about the program
-Learn what property owners can do now to prepare for lead inspections later
-Get help registering your properties!
And check out some books while you're at it!
We'll see you at George F. Johnson Library at 1001 Park St Endicott, NY 13760 on Wednesday June 10th at 6pm!
