The Republic Branch Library, part of the Springfield-Greene County Library District, serves as a vital community resource center. The branch provides printing, copying, and fax services, and offers specialized assistance for individuals with special needs. It also provides test proctoring services. Currently undergoing a significant expansion, the new facility will double its size, featuring a spacious youth services department, a drive-through window, outdoor patio, and walking trail. The expanded library will also include a Business Connect Center with coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and staff advisors to support entrepreneurs and remote workers, as well as a Maker Space equipped for creative experimentation. The library's mission is to serve the educational, cultural, and recreational needs of its patrons, fostering lifelong learning and building a stronger community.
