Details:
As part of July Art Walk, experience "Sensing the Coast: An Art-Science Collaboration," an immersive exhibition exploring Maine's changing coastal environments through the intersection of art and science.
Through sound, sight, taste, and touch, the exhibition transforms real environmental data into interactive artistic experiences. Visitors will encounter contemporary artworks, scientific research, drone photography, and community engagement projects that offer new ways of understanding Maine's coastlines, bays, and estuaries.
Featured works include generative video installations based on ocean temperature data, interactive mixed-media environments, music composed from weather patterns, and participatory experiences inspired by water-quality measurements.
