Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt: Summer Reading Club

Join our Summer Reading programs designed for all ages! For children from birth to 12 years, participate in the Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt by picking up a checklist in the Children's Room and searching for dinosaur pictures around the library. After finding all the dinosaurs, return your checklist for a bonus raffle ticket and prize, but be sure to register for the summer reading club first; adults must accompany children. Teens aged 13 to 18 can enjoy the "Teen Summer Reading Bingo" by collecting a Bingo Card at the Readers Services desk. Mark off squares by completing reading challenges and submit your card between June 29 and August 15, 2026, for a chance to win a swag bag and a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card. Additionally, the "Unearth a Story Summer Reading Club" for children 12 and under starts registration on June 15, with reporting from June 29 to August 8. Participants will earn raffle tickets for their reading progress, with a grand prize of a Barnes & Noble gift card. For adults 18 and over, the "Adult Summer Reading Bingo" contest runs from June 1 to August 31, 2026, offering a chance to win one of three $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards. All completed bingo cards must be submitted by August 31 at 9:00 p.m., with winners announced after Labor Day. Enjoy reading this summer!
