Berks In Focus: Symphony Of A Thousand Images

There’s still time to participate in Berks in Focus: Symphony of a Thousand Images, and now, the opportunity is open to Berks County residents of all ages!
In celebration of Berks County's 275th Anniversary, Yocum Institute for Arts Education, in collaboration with the Reading Symphony Orchestra and Westwater Arts, invites community members to capture what makes Berks County special through the lens of a camera.
From stunning landscapes and historic landmarks to community traditions, local culture, and everyday moments, we want to see the beauty, character, and spirit of Berks County through your unique perspective.
Submitted photographs will be considered for inclusion in Berks in Focus: Symphony of a Thousand Images, a one-of-a-kind visual concert taking place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading. This inspiring performance will combine live music by the Reading Symphony Orchestra with a powerful slideshow of images captured by members of our community, creating an unforgettable celebration of Berks County's people, places, and stories.
