Hollinshead-Matson Homestead Museum Open House

Join us for a free open house at the Hollinshead-Matson Homestead Museum, where you can explore life in Central Oregon during the 1940s. Located in Hollinshead Park, the museum offers free tours on the second Saturday of each month from May to October, and a special holiday event in December. During your visit, hear captivating stories about farming and life in Bend from Sharron Rosengarth, a member of the Matson family who grew up in the homestead. The event is hosted by Sharron Rosengarth and the Bend Park and Recreation District, with support from volunteers and the Deschutes County Historical Museum. Private tours for small groups may be arranged by appointment.
