RECEPTION Saturday, July 25th 2-4 PM with Artist talk at 2:30 PM
EXHIBIT May 29 – August 22, 2026
Watermark Art Center’s presents work from Kane Goulet entitled Miikawaadad Wanichigewin -“Beautiful Mistake” (pronunciation and exhibit details here: watermarkartcenter.org/beautiful-mistake/), opening May 29 in the Miikanan Gallery. The artist reception is slated for Saturday, July 25 from 2 to 4pm with an artist talk at 2:30.
Says Goulet, “My work begins with the understanding that perfection is unattainable and instead of resisting that, I use it as a starting point. At its core, my work celebrates curiosity, enjoyment and the freedom to have fun while making something honest.”
The exhibit is a compilation of abstract paintings and stylized interpretations of his experiences and travels.
