Speculative Fiction II

Drop-In Writing Group: Speculative Fiction II Meets 2nd & 4th Sundays from 3:30-5:30pm in the Writers Corner on the mezzanine level of the bookstore. This group is open to all fiction that includes elements of the unreal. Writing that includes elements of science fiction, fantasy, horror, magical realism, weird fiction, fabulism, folk tales, fairy-tale inspired work, superheroes, etc. and anything else beyond the realm of realistic fiction is welcome. We focus on the elements of strong fiction including character, plot, setting, pacing, and mechanics of good writing. This is a workshop group, which means we share our writing with the goal of receiving feedback to inspire revision and further development as writers.
