Details:
Join us at the Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Visitor Center for the fourth in a series of guided hikes as a part of this year’s Your Parks Adventure: Trail Trek program!
Join the museum’s Executive Director, Doug Friedli, for a guided hike along the Tree Trail and walk in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark to learn about their historic expedition through this area and its importance to the growth of the United States and eventually Nebraska.
The Tree Trail is one mile long and features an overlook of the Missouri River. The trail has a chipped wood surface and is stroller friendly.
Living history reenactors will be on site at 10 a.m. and Joe Starita, author of I Am a Man, will give a special presentation at 11 a.m.
