Details:
On Friday, July 3, a team of veterans bicycling across the country on the Great American Rail-Trail will reach Battle Creek, the midpoint of their journey, just in time to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!
You’re invited to a special (FREE) lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the intersection of N. Boyer Street and the Cowboy Trail, honoring the veterans’ service and the importance of trails in providing safe spaces for everyone to be active outside, stay healthy and be resilient. After lunch, everyone is welcome to join the veterans for a walk or bike ride on the Cowboy Trail segment of the Great American into Ta-Ha-Zouka Park beginning around 2 p.m.
Please RSVP if you are planning to attend.
