Hand Lettering for Teens

Join us for "Hand Lettering for Teens," a beginner-friendly class designed for teens ages 12 and older. Scheduled for June 25, 2026, at the Makery in Downtown State College from 4:30-6:00 PM, this session will cover the fundamentals of hand lettering, utilizing your existing writing skills regardless of handwriting style. Participants will have the opportunity to practice with pencils, markers, and brush pens while using Shannon's adult Hand Lettering 101 workbook, tailored specifically for a teen audience. All necessary supplies will be provided, along with a digital copy of the materials for continued practice. As part of the registration, you will receive a printed and digital information packet, including class notes, tips, sample alphabets, and practice pages. An optional Tombow Lettering in Color kit, valued at $35, is available for those who wish to enhance their lettering experience. Come learn to hand letter like a pro!
