Details:
Discover the timeless beauty of shell art inspired by the decorative traditions of the 19th century, when seashells were carefully arranged into intricate bouquets, ornaments, and Victorian keepsakes. In this creative, hands-on workshop, participants will explore the history and artistry behind these stunning coastal displays while designing a one-of-a-kind piece of their own.
Using a variety of natural shells and decorative materials provided by the instructor, you’ll learn techniques for arranging and securing your design inside a shadow box frame. Whether you prefer a classic floral-inspired composition or a more modern coastal design, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to express your creativity and create a meaningful handmade keepsake.
No prior artistic experience is needed—just bring your imagination and enjoy a relaxing, guided crafting experience in a welcoming environment. At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home a finished shadow box featuring their custom shell art, ready to display or gift.
All materials are included.
Recommended for ages 12 and up.
