Details:
Join us for "Science Pub: This is Your Brain on Tech" with Doreen Dodgen-Magee, Psy.D., a psychologist, author, and speaker, who will explore how our technology use shapes our brains, relationships, and sense of self. As the average American spends about 10.5 hours a day with screens, this talk will delve into the impacts on mental and physical health, and personal relationships. Doreen offers an empowering perspective on the challenges of focus and calm in our tech-driven lives, along with practical strategies for making small changes that yield positive results. The event, ideal for ages 10 and over, takes place on August 4, from 7-9 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. An $8 suggested donation is welcome, and advance tickets are recommended. If you can't attend in person, you can participate via Zoom by registering in advance. This event is part of our casual Science Pub lecture series held in fun venues across the region.
